Larry diMarzio's superdistortion humbucker was the first replacement pickup in the 1970s, which was made accessible to a broad market. With almost twice as much output as a normal humbucker, he laid the foundation for a now almost endless range of replacement pick - ups, with which the inclined guitar player can fiddle the sound of his instrument. In addition to the comprehensive range of Replacements you can find DiMarzio pickups as standard on Fender, Ibanez or MusicMan guitars.
Designed with and for Steve Vai. The neck version is bold, powerful and loud. The bridge pickup is tight, aggressive and louder.
