The difference of this dual-coat on Emperor is that the two sheets are glued to the edge region to the black line. This develops the Pinstripe more sustain than the Emperor. The tonal qualities are those of the Emperor's otherwise very similar.

- very open overtones
- pronounced bang
- sets the tone, however, in a musical context (eg in a band) is not so much as by "white coated"
- The smooth surface is not playable with brooms
