The Victory V40 Duchess Deluxe head is the extended version of the "British Californian ", the V40 The Duchess. This head delivers the classic Blackface Tone. The Deluxe version offers a spring reverb and classic BIAS Tremolo. The amp can also be "british blues" - with cranked gain it goes off in bluesbreaker fields.

Simple single channel amp, easy to dial in a thousand great clean tones, then add pedals for distortion etc. Super loud too, nice compression.
This amp is a beast. Its so flexible and the cleaners are to die for. Great platform to use pedals in front. Makes the pedals come alive and brings our the characteristics of each guitar! Used with matching 2x12 cabinet.
Ich bin sehr zu Frieden mit dem Amp. Toller Clean Sound. Im 7 Watt Modus kann man auch sehr gut leise spielen wenn es sein Muss. Im 40 Watt Modus kann er auch leise gespielt werden, Laut kann der Amp natürlich auch. Zu Hause kann man den Amp mit 40Watt nicht voll aufdrehen das ist einfach viel zu Laut. Dafür ist der 7Watt Modus ja da sehr gut für zu Hause.
Beste Cleansounds, sahniger Crunch. Nichts für die Metalfraktion, aber für Blues und Bluesrock wie gemacht. Pedale werden erstklassig verarbeitet, sowohl vor dem Amp als auch im Effekt-Loop. Ein Traumverstärker mit einem exzellenten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Brauch keinen anderen mehr - und ich hatte (habe) viele.
Das V40 Deluxe Topteil der englischen Verstärkerschmiede Victory ist nicht nur eine Augenweide, sondern klingt auch noch verdammt gut. Die 40 Watt blasen selbst im Proberaum alles weg. :-) Deswegen spiele ich während der Probe oder zu Hause überwiegend im 7 Watt Modus. Echt Klasse. Mit Hilfe des Voice Schalters lässt sich zwischen "Britisch" und "Amerikanisch" umschalten. Beim clean eingestellten Amp klingt das auch tatsächlich Fender- und Marshallmäßig. Ich spiele den Amp fast nur clean. Mit einem V4 The Sheriff Preamp von Victory lässt sich mit der Amp Through (4-Kabel-) Methode ein flexibler 3 Kanaler etablieren! D.h. der Sheriff wird dann per Fußklick zur Vorstufe und röhrt was das Zeug hält! Fährt man mit der V40 eigenen Vorstufe in den Zerrbereich bekommt man einen Overdrivesound vom Feinsten. Blues pur! Dann mit ein bischen röhrengetrieben Hall würzen ... Klasse! Das ebenfalls per Röhre getriebene Tremolo klingt im Cleanbetrieb ebenfalls fein und lässt sich gut dosieren. Der V40 Deluxe versteht sich sehr gut mit Boostern und Overdrive Pedalen. Ein toller Amp mit Charakter. Wärmstens zu empfehlen!
