The LD Systems motto "pro audio in motion" is successfully realised with the Dave 8 Roadie. The complete PA system delivers an amazing performance for mobile applications and has a powerful 1400 watt (peak) power amplifier. The system is equipped with two satellite speakers (2x4"-1") and a powerful 8" bandpass subwoofer. The mini PA system has been specially designed for musicians as it is flexible and portable.
With the Dave 8 Roadie you have 3 different, simultaneously assignable connection options. The first channel is equipped with a combo socket (XLR/jack) for mixing consoles and keyboards, another channel has two RCA sockets for connecting a computer. The third channel has a 3.5 mm stereo socket and a 6.3 mm mono jack socket for MP3 players or guitars; the desired input can be activated using the selector switch. Both the subwoofer and the satellites are powered by the powerful Class A/B power amplifier integrated into the subwoofer.
An integrated limiter protects the system from overload and guarantees a long service life of the system - it also offers all the usual protection circuits. In addition to an ON/OFF switch and a phase switch (180°) on the side of the subwoofer, there is also a separate control for the subwoofer volume so that you can set a perfect mix of brilliant highs, crisp mids and powerful bass at any time.
Ergonomic carrying handles on the subwoofer and satellites as well as robust front grilles emphasise the Dave 8 Roadie's suitability for touring - making the system the perfect companion for musicians.
