The Boss RC-3 is one of the most successful Boss loopers, and now Boss is taking it to the next level: with the RC-5 Loop Station, Boss has the most powerful looper in the compact pedal class currently available. The first thing that catches the eye is the color display - the loop status is shown by changing the background color, the current position within a loop is shown clearly and precisely by a moving bar graph. The "inner values" are also impressive: a generous recording time of no less than 13 hours in stereo (!! ) in 32-bit resolution is available, reverse function, MIDI input/output via space-saving mini jack connections (optional BMIDI-5-35 adapter cable), 99 user presets, saving and loading of WAV loops via USB. The usual, annoying Simpel "tapping ghosts" of other loopers are also a thing of the past: the RC-5 offers 7 different drum kits with a total of 57 patterns (2 variations each). The stop and memory function can also be conveniently operated remotely via an optional foot switch. A sophisticated loop station with extensive features and a high fun factor!
