Wireless system with hand-held microphone
The German Federal Network Agency regulates the use of radio microphones and in-ear monitoring systems ewith the VvnömL (administrative regulations for frequency allocations in non-public land mobile radio) and divides users of radio systems into two groups: Private and professional users. Private, registration-free and free of charge are the VHF (170 - 230 MHz), LTE center gap (823 - 832 MHz), EU band (863 - 865 MHz), DECT (1880 - 1900 MHz) and WLAN (2.4 GHz) bands. The UHF ranges 470 - 608 MHz, 614 - 704 MHz, 733 - 823 MHz and 1452 - 1525 MHz are for professional use and therefore subject to registration and charges. Registration with the Federal Network Agency costs a one-time fee of €130 (regardless of the number of radio channels), and the annual fee per channel costs about €10. The allocated certificates are always limited to 10 years. (Source "Use of Frequencies for Wireless Systems", Shure Distribution GmbH)
