Ortega Bamboo

Every instrument in the Ortega Bamboo series is crafted from natural, solid bamboo. This makes the Bamboo Series the only series from Ortega that is produced completely without the use of wood.

Depending on personal preference you can choose between soprano, concert and tenor ukuleles or a ukulele bass. The ukuleles of the Bamboo Series feature a solid bamboo body; the neck, fretboard and headstock are also made of bamboo. The ukulele bass comes with an F-hole as an elegant design feature. All of these instruments are available either in a Satin Natural finish or in a blue "Satin Stonewashed" version and are fitted with black Graph Tech Ratio tuners. The satin finish is significantly thinner than a high-gloss finish and allows the wood to resonate more freely, creating a more open tone with increased sustain.
