Eastman AC
The guitars of the AC series stand for comfort, elegance and excellent tone, making them Eastman's flagship series in the field of steel-string acoustic guitars. Selected tonewoods combined with ergonomic features and Eastman's characteristically high-quality workmanship make the AC instruments real eye-catchers.
Almost all instruments in the AC series are Grand Auditorium models, only the ACTG-1 is an auditorium model in a travel format. Each model is built all-solid; the tops on the more affordable 100 and 200 models are made from Sitka spruce or cedar and the bodies from Sapele or Ovangkol. In the mid-range AC guitars, mahogany and rosewood are used.
Eastman has completely redesigned the AC series and added new premium models: the models AC522CE, AC622CE and AC722CE feature rounded edges and an ergonomic armrest, taking the enjoyment of playing to a new level. A soundport has also been integrated into the upper bout. These guitars also use high-quality woods such as Engelmann spruce, maple and koa. Special finishes like Dakota Fade and Goldburst, combined with distinctive rosettes and bindings, create a particularly refined look.
