Brian Wampler describes himself as "Geek Gear" and that's what you have to probably be, if you want the "tone-business" there. Wamplers was sparked after a modified pedal and got my hands on it immediately opened to find out exactly what this pedal was because suddenly sound so much better. The next months were spent mainly in the garage with modifications and meticulous comparison tests.
After a couple of pedals for people from the Harmony Central forum was modified, he found himself suddenly confronted by an incredible response and a need for riesegen pedal modifications and only a short time later he worked up to 18 hours of its modifications.

Nowadays you can hear his pedals on a variety of country-rock and pop productions and although since 2004 Wampler pedal is to be full-time job, his passion is still so great that he sees it rather as a paid holiday!
