Vintage Icon V6MRTBG

Like all V6 ICON ™ models, the V6MRTBG is exclusively equipped with Wilkinson® WJ55 E-Z-Lok ™ Tuners, the Wilkinson® WVC vibrato bridge and perfectly matched Wilkinson® WVS Alnico SingleCoils. Incidentally, the "TB" in the type designation means Thomas Blug, which is why this guitar - in addition to the standard noise suppression in the two intermediate positions by the reverse wound/reverse polarity single coil in the middle position - has an additional dummy coil, which when activated by Thomas' Bulka ™ Push-Push-Poti suppresses background noises in switch positions 1 and 5 and so the neck and bridge pickup can also be used for high-gain sounds. Thomas secret weapon, a capacitor on the volume potentiometer, which leaves the high parts of the signal unchanged when turned off, is just as much a part of the V6MRTBG as the classic 60’s aluminum plate under the pickguard, which provides additional noise suppression.
