Vahlbruch Kaluna

Kaluna - that sounds somehow like beach and surfing, but the pedal of Henning Vahlbruch is a rocking tube distortion of the extra class. For the basic sound, a 12AX7 double triode is responsible, which is operated with 250 volts voltage, as in a tube amp. But don't worry - the Kaluna pedal can be operated with a standard 9 volt 500 mA power supply - the voltage is converted internally. The tube input stage is followed by a powerful, active 3 band tone control. As you would expect from a true tube input stage, the Kaluna pedal is a dynamic marvel - the pedal responds to even the slightest change in velocity and position of the guitar's volume pot. From light distortion, to rich crunch, to creamy lead sounds, everything is possible.
