The new MKII model offers, among other things, new 32-bit/192 kHz converters, an improved dynamic range, a larger gain range and switchable high-pass filters.
To guarantee impeccable sonic performance, SSL makes no compromises in the key areas. The microphone preamps deliver class-leading specifications and SSL uses original components from Neutrik, Alps and AKM. Convenient level meters and two parallel headphone outputs on the front complement the ambitious feature set. If a signal needs a bit more “character”, the “Legacy 4K” switch helps — it gives uninspiring sounds a dose of analogue warmth and “glamour”.
And as if that weren’t enough, SSL also includes a premium selection of software licences for SSL Native plug-ins, DAWs, samples, loops and virtual instruments – with this toolbox you can get started straight away!
