Lockable on/off switch

The V7 SWITCH features the same great characteristics and impressive specifications as the dynamic microphones in the V-series and offers a professional lockable on/off switch. This is especially useful to ensure the microphone is not accidentally muted in the middle of a performance. The V7 SWITCH provides a silent, click-free switching action thanks to the proven reed element. The vacuum-sealed contacts also ensure reliable operation in demanding live use for years.

The lockable switch makes the V7 SWITCH suitable for a variety of applications, such as a talkback microphone, paging microphone, rehearsals, a personal PA or in a house of worship.

Innovative, specialised aluminium voice coil

The dynamic DMC7 capsule in the V7 SWITCH has been specially developed for a clear, open sound that captures your voice and instruments in the most natural way you’ve heard on stage - and its sophisticated supercardioid capsule design helps isolate your voice from other instruments and delivers enormous gain before feedback.

Proven neodymium magnets, tight manufacturing tolerances and high-quality workmanship provide excellent sensitivity, outstanding sonic quality and superb consistency.

Patented integrated shockmount

The V7 SWITCH features a patented shockmount that efficiently decouples the capsule from mechanical vibrations and produces exceptionally low handling noise compared with other microphones in its class. That means you can move freely on stage without worrying about rumble, cracking or anything other than your voice.

All-metal body and angled spring-steel grille

The V7 SWITCH is built in a live-ready design - all metal, no plastic parts. The high-quality, extremely durable zinc-alloy body is designed to withstand the rigours of the stage for years, and the spring-steel grille is dent-resistant and corrosion-free for perfect reliability.

The angled rim around the grille prevents the microphone from rolling when you place it on an amp or the stage floor.

Integrated windscreen

Efficiently reduces unwanted wind noise and plosives. If you don’t like the elegant red colour or it’s not suitable for broadcasting use, we include a black replacement windscreen in the packaging.

Gold-plated XLR connector

The V7 SWITCH features a gold-plated XLR connector to ensure a loss-free and reliable signal connection for years, even in the most demanding touring environments.
