The Nobels ODR-1 overdrive pedal has been a well-known classic for over 30 years. It has achieved cult status among guitarists worldwide and has become an industry standard. In 2018 Nobel launched the idea of mini pedals, starting with a mini version of the ODR-1. In 2024 this series was updated with the ODR-mini2 and the DEL-mini. In 2025 the range was expanded with the CHO-mini pedal.

The CHO-mini pedal features three carefully crafted yet distinct chorus modes. All three modes faithfully capture the iconic modulation sounds that have shaped music across genres, past and present, and are simply selected using the practical mode switch on the top of the pedal.
- „Chorus 1“: This mode emulates the coveted and well-established bucket-brigade style chorus pedal sounds from the 1970s. This is THE chorus sound heard on many popular recordings.
- „Chorus 2“: Chorus 2 is based on a different type of stereo chorus and allows for a higher rate at the top end of the control range, enabling pleasant vibrato-like textures.
- „Flanging“: This mode is not a flanger tone in the conventional sense, but it emulates another extremely popular (and in its original form rare and expensive) 1970s pedal in its subtle flanging mode. Think of it as a comb-filter-like phasing of the signal (like delay feedback), focusing on a lush overall character without becoming too extreme.
The CHO-mini offers full tap-tempo functionality in a single-switch design, further increasing its flexibility. By simply holding the footswitch for about two seconds the pedal enters the "Tap Tempo Mode", after which the pedal immediately responds to rhythmic taps and changes the modulation speed. As with all current Nobels pedals, the CHO-mini includes 4 integrated Mounty-P mounting plates for secure attachment to a pedalboard.
