The EVOLVE 70 column speaker system is a powerful yet portable extension of the EVOLVE family. It is designed to support professional users at larger events with outstanding audio quality, high output power, ease of use and portability.
The EVOLVE family is recognised as the benchmark in portability - and the EVOLVE 70 continues this tradition. Advanced materials and ergonomic design principles have been utilised throughout the system to ensure acoustic performance that exceeds user expectations - while claiming to be the lightest and most portable model in its class.
With a maximum sound pressure level of 133 dB, the EVOLVE 70 delivers clear, powerful and consistent 120° wide horizontal coverage via proprietary waveguides through eight 4.7" neodymium drivers - combined with array-moulded asymmetrical 25° vertical dispersion. Advanced FIR processing ensures linear frequency response and phase-accurate reproduction. The 15-inch subwoofer achieves a low-frequency extension down to 35 Hz. This massive bass in combination with the highly efficient laminar flow bass reflex design and powerful 3-inch voice coils ensures first-class audio performance and a perfect balance of power, level and mobility.
The new column speaker system offers numerous connection options for microphones, line-level signals, Bluetooth and digital audio sources - and therefore maximum flexibility for almost any professional application. The connections include XLR/TRS combo sockets for microphone/line inputs, XLR and RCA line inputs as well as AES/EBU digital audio. The EVOLVE 70 is also integrated into the updated QuickSmart mobile app ecosystem, allowing it to be controlled as part of a system with other Bluetooth-enabled EV speakers.
The EVOLVE 70 has been developed to meet the growing demands of professional users - including professional DJs, bands, production companies, event organisers and venues. Designed for quick set-up, the EVOLVE 70 utilises the proven EVOLVE 3-2-1 set-up principle, which is the industry standard for fast set-up and dismantling. As 3-2-1 promises: three parts, two clicks, one system.
Available in black or white, the EVOLVE 70 takes the design of the EVOLVE series to a new level. It utilises lightweight materials and ergonomic shapes for maximum mobility and the familiar striking look. An aluminium spacer bar connects the top and subwoofer, while neodymium drivers and advanced materials keep the overall weight low. The supplied carrying bag for the array and distance rod as well as an optionally available transport trolley ensure that the portability claim of the EVOLVE series is consistently continued.
