The DDP-80 PRO is an uncomplicated digital piano that fits into most homes. It takes up very little space, has a lovely Nordic design, can do pretty much everything a normal acoustic piano can (and more) and needs nothing but a mains socket, as it has a built-in amplifier and two speakers.

It has 88 weighted keys, making it suitable for all kinds of pianists. Whether you are just starting out and want to learn on real weighted keys, or you are an experienced pianist who wants a keyboard with the feel of an acoustic piano.

Finally, the DDP-80 PRO is equipped with Bluetooth and MIDI, opening up a wealth of possibilities for online lessons, recording, new sounds and much more.

DDP-80 PRO with practical features

Unlike an acoustic piano, you can turn the piano's volume up and down. If you want to play quietly or not disturb others, you can plug in headphones, so the DDP-80 PRO is completely silent to everyone except you.

The DDP-80 PRO is also MIDI-compatible and has a USB output, so you can use it for self-study, composition or lessons via online courses or apps.

You can also connect it to music production software on a computer and use it for great-sounding recordings, or use it as a MIDI keyboard to play the countless sounds typically found in a DAW system.

Finally, you can use the Bluetooth function to play music from a portable device (phone, tablet, PC/Mac) directly through the DDP-80 PRO's built-in speakers — either just for listening or as backing for your own piano playing.

The keyboard

The DDP-80 PRO features a fully weighted hammer-action keyboard with 88 keys that very closely simulates an acoustic piano and responds precisely to the force with which you play. This makes it a great digital piano that can replace an acoustic upright or grand — whether you are a beginner or an experienced pianist and whether you want to entertain, teach or learn at home.

Advanced sound module and built-in speakers

The DDP-80 PRO's sound module is based on the highly regarded DREAM sound chip, so you can expect first-class piano tones. It also features full 128-note polyphony. No matter how complex the music you play is, or how much you use the supplied pedals, you'll always have a wide dynamic range for your piano playing — from very subtle and restrained to very powerful and dramatic, without having to change the volume.

All of this richness is wonderfully reproduced by the powerful built-in amplifier system and the two stereo surround speakers, each rated at 25 watts.

If you want to play in a quiet environment, you have the option to connect headphones to the DDP-80 PRO's headphone-optimised output to achieve the best possible sound.
