Martin Guitars D-18 Modern Deluxe

Modern Deluxe is a new version of the Martin Vintage Series. These guitars are packed with custom features and advanced technology that you have to see, feel and hear for yourself. Vintage features include a Sitka Spruce Vintage Tone System (VTS) top, dovetail neck joint and a construction of natural protein glue that gives these guitars the rich, fully aged Martin tone that has inspired generations. With a binding of flamed maple or East Indian rosewood, stylish golden frets, golden machine heads with open gears and a 1930s-style lettering on the headstock, the Modern Deluxe look is unlike anything we have ever seen before in our production line. Ultra-modern features include liquid metal bar pins with red dots and a carbon fiber composite bar plate that increases volume without adding weight. We have also introduced a new, slightly asymmetrical neck shape for maximum hand comfort above and below the fretboard. Sophistication and performance are standard on these guitars.
