Eventide

Eventide designs and manufactures audio, broadcast, communications, and even avionics equipment in their New Jersey facility. Starting in a New York Ciry recording studio, Eventide first designed a piece of gear which would rewind to a specific position on multi-track tape recorders, eliminating the need for a seperate tape-op. With the new digital technologies and RAM chips Eventide went on to design phasers, harmonizers, digital delays, pitch shifters and other time based studio effects. Today Eventide packages these technologies in stompbox-like products designed for performing guitarists. Eventide products have been used by musicians from Frank Zappa, David Bowie, Eddie Van Halen, and Steve Winwood.
