Adam Audio T7V · Active Monitor
The wide frequency response, wide dynamic range, excellent transient response, wide sweet spot and small footprint make the Adam Audio T7V ideal for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production and broadcast - an interesting option for the limited budgets that many facilities have to work with. The Adam Sub8 subwoofer is the perfect complement to the T7V to expand the possibilities of low frequency monitoring.
The Adam Audio T7V features a 7" woofer that delivers bass response down to 39 Hz, while the diaphragm of the U-ART tweeter provides an unadulterated and extended high-frequency range up to 25 kHz. The U-ART tweeter is equipped with a precision waveguide that provides the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the High Frequency Propagation Waveguide (HPS) used in the S Series studio monitors. The very even reproduction of high frequencies by the waveguide provides an incredibly wide sweet spot, which saves you from having to stay in a rigid position while working.

Newly developed U-ART tweeter with HPS Waveguide
Many of the technical innovations that were developed for the S-Series, ADAM Audio's premium series, are now also used in the T-Series. The design of the new U-ART 1.9 "T-Series tweeter is based on that of the X-ART and S-ART tweeters from the AX-Series and S-Series respectively. The U-ART tweeter is equipped with a precision waveguide that has the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the HPS (High Frequency Propagation System) waveguide used in ADAM Audio's S-Series studio monitors.
New Class-D amplifiers and DSP-controlled room adjustment
Both the Adam Audio T7V and the T5V are equipped with new Class D amplifiers (20 watts for the tweeter and 50 watts for the woofer), universal power supplies and integrated DSP crossovers derived from the technological advances in S Series design and production. The rear panel of the T5V and T7V features an XLR connector and a RCA socket with balanced +4 dBu or unbalanced -10 dBV input. An associated 2-way switch selects which socket receives an input signal. The T5V and T7V can automatically operate with AC voltages from 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz. This allows them to be connected to both professional and "prosumer" recording systems, as well as balanced and unbalanced I/O boxes for DAWs.
Two 3-way switches amplify or attenuate the respective low and high frequencies by ±2 dB and offer an additional "flat" setting. These EQ switches allow you to adjust the frequency response of the T5V and T7V to precisely match the performance of the monitors when placed on a shelf, desk or console, or at different distances from walls.
