The additional 3-Band equaliser offers considerably more sound control. The Bass Boost wonderfully empathises the bottom end of a 4x12 box even at low volumes. The Bright Boost delivers additional treble when needed and the switchable pregain regulation takes over the job of a certain green pedal that is often seen in connection with a Marshall® Amp.

Brian Wampler names himself the “Gear Geek” and that is exactly what you have to be in order to keep up in the “Tone Business”. Wampler`s first experience started as he got his hands on a modified pedal and opened it up straight away to find out what exactly made this pedal sound so much better than the others. Over the next months he spent his time in his garage modifying pedals and running trials and comparison tests. After he had modified pedals for players in the Harmony Central Forum he was overwhelmed by a huge positive response and a large demand on modified pedals, soon he was to be spending 18 hour shifts on his modifications.
Nowadays you can hear his pedals on many Country, Rock and Pop productions and although Wampler Pedals is his full time job since 2004, his passion still is so strong that he sees it more like unpaid holidays!

From the humble beginnings of modding pedals to producing his original boutique pedals, it's been a long journey for Brian. He is a guitarist first and foremost and has always been a true gear nerd — he tried different guitars, amps and, of course, pedals — always with the aim of achieving the best possible sound.
