With the single-channel Victory The Duchess there is only one issue: Tone, Tone and Tone. Fans of classic blues and rock sounds will find everything that makes hearts beat faster. Voice 1 provides the warm, American clean sound of Mid Sixties, Voice 2 sounds somewhat stronger and is located more in the 1950s character. At higher gain settings and mid-kick activated the Duchess reminds again of their origin and provides the classic British blues rock sound of the 1960s. The V40 can be easily controlled with the volume control on the guitar and harmonizes very well with pedals.
The Duchess can be biased for 6L6 Tubes and the Wattage is switchable to 40, 7, 1.5,0.5 Watts.
