The heads of the Remo Emporer - Tom Pack - Coated - 10-12-16 - inch are significantly more durable and sound noticeably warmer than the more transparent Emporer models. The heads consist of two plies of 7-mil Mylar film, which produce a very warm and long-lasting tone and are therefore ideal for studio use.
