Inspired by the legendary KORG Mono/Poly, the KORG multi/poly analogue‑modelling synthesizer delivers impressive virtually analogue sounds that, thanks to powerful digital technology, offer outstanding flexibility.
The original Mono/Poly used four oscillators and was therefore known for its unusually full sound, as well as for its unique, experimental features such as flexible cross‑modulation and sync routings and the “round‑robin”‑like triggering of individual oscillators. In this way the Mono/Poly brought features to a compact, user‑friendly instrument that previously could only be implemented in large modular systems.
The new multi/poly is the first instrument ever to use the latest generation of KORG's analogue‑modelling technology, building on that legendary combination of big sounds and experimental modular features. In essence it is a polyphonic modular system in a compact, easily accessible format — a boundless playground for synth fans and sound designers. Create hybrids of East‑Coast, West‑Coast and wavetable oscillators and choose from a wide selection of newly modelled filters. Bring these sounds to life using different models of envelope, VCA and portamento circuits. Virtual voice cards produce natural timbral variations. The “Layer Rotate” function triggers a new sound with each key press. On top of that you also get KAOSS Physics, Motion Sequencing 2.0, extensive modulation options and much more.

The Japanese company Korg INC is one of the most renowned manufacturers of our time when it comes to electronic musical instruments and accessories. Among musicians the company is often simply referred to as Korg. The company was founded on 28 August 1963 by Tsutomu Kato and Tadashi Osanai. The nearly 300 employees at Korg INC are mainly engaged in the manufacture and marketing of synthesizers and samplers, drum machines and sound modules, keyboards and electric pianos, but also USB controllers, electronic drums as well as handy little helpers for guitarists. Worth mentioning here are clip tuners (Pitch-Clip), tuners (CA-50, GA-50, Pitchblack) and metronomes (MA-2) as well as guitar and bass effects.
