This pedal is based on one of the most modified circuits of the effects device history. JHS is no exception: the Moonshine pedal in the current V2 variant offers the classic sound and a lot more. Two gain stages are switchable, stage 1 supplies the classic overdrive, stage 2 puts the obligatory splash on it! The clean direct signal can be blended - even with strongly distorted sounds the attack is retained! With internal 18 Volt operation, the Moonshine V2 offers a significantly extended headroom and very good dynamics.

The story of JHS Pedals began in 2007 at the desk of Joshua Heath Scott, known as Josh, who wanted to repair his Blues Driver pedal. He then developed an interest in effects pedals and their circuits, repaired and modified his friends' stompboxes and eventually began selling modified Boss pedals under the name JHS Mods in a local music shop. A year later he started selling his own pedal creations and renamed the brand JHS Pedals.
The name JHS Pedals still stands for high quality, inventiveness and distinctive designs. Josh Scott has since assembled a large team of pedal enthusiasts who share his passion for effects and assist him in building and designing his pedals. As a result, new additions appear regularly in the already extensive JHS Pedals range. Among the brand's best-known representatives are the Morning Glory overdrive, the Muffuletta fuzz and the pedals of the 3 Series.

Very interesting effect for those looking for a light ovedrive. i find it unique in having the “CLEAN” potentiometer that really allows you to mix the amount of “clean” and “gain” to your liking
Sehr gut klingendes Drive/Overdrive/Distortion Pedal, insbesondere der Clean Regler macht extrem Spass da man den Anteil des Effektes reinmischen kann. Sehr gut auch vor Crunch oder Lead Kanälen, was ja nicht alle Effektgeräte dieser Art können.
Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Teil. Das hat mir auf meinem Pedalboard genau gefehlt.
