Product information "Gibson Falcon 20 1x12 Combo Cream Bronco"
Gibson is proud to introduce the new Falcon 20 1x12 combo amplifier. It pays homage to Gibson's legendary past as one of the world's first manufacturers of amplifiers for electric guitars. The Falcon 20 resurrects the fame of Gibson amplifiers, delivering vintage tone reinterpreted with valuable new features and all the magic of the original.
Inspired by the Gibson Falcon amplifiers of the 1960s, this all-new design is handcrafted by renowned amplifier pioneer Randall Smith and the MESA/Boogie design team in Petaluma, California, and sets a new standard in low-power tone. The Falcon 20 differs from its predecessors in the design and tonal improvements that Randall's five decades of tube amplifier design experience and performance-enhancing ideology have produced, delivering nothing less than astonishing results.
The Falcon 20 is a simple single-channel system with a focus on great sound and ease of use. The ultra-simple, pure signal path design has controls consisting of Volume and Tone, plus additional footswitchable Reverb and Tremolo controls that add dimensionality and movement to the amp, immensely increasing its enjoyment and usefulness in a wide range of musical styles.
Connoisseurs have long known that one of the secrets to a great overdrive sound lies in power amp overdrive, and lower-powered amps are the key to turning up and achieving a cranked-up power amp sound without overwhelming volume. The Gibson Falcon 20 1x12 combo is ideal for those who want a sensitive, nuanced response at the low to mid end of the gain and power spectrum, with a harmonically rich blend of vintage power amp overdrive when cranked up. This sonic magic is brought to life by the vintage sound of a 12" Jensen® Blackbird 40 Alnico speaker that perfectly complements the volume range and Class A power amp. Players can choose between Full, Half or Low power modes (12, 5 or 1 watt) from the patented Multi-Watt™, 6V6, Pure Class A Power or 15, 6 or 2 watts with optional 6L6 power tubes, offering three levels of expressive vintage Gibson tone and feel. This power flexibility allows for even more ways to seamlessly and musically transition in and out of the clip, making the Falcon 20 an ideal amp for club gigs, home practice and recording. With its modern refinements, high-end performance and boutique construction, the Falcon 20 is a cut above the most prized vintage Gibson gems.

The American Gibson Guitar Corporation, founded in 1902 by Orville Gibson in Kalamazoo, Michigan, first became known for the production of mandolins and banjos. Today the company’s headquarters are in Nashville, Tennessee, and Gibson is one of the world’s most renowned and respected manufacturers of electric guitars.
The model Les Paul, named after its creator Lester William Polsfuss, is one of the most famous and best‑selling electric guitar shapes of all time and established the single‑cut guitar form, which has been copied, adopted and reinterpreted by numerous other manufacturers. The Les Paul is mainly prized for its sound, characterised as warm and full. The humbucker pickup largely responsible for that sound, in its now common design, was developed by Seth Lover at Gibson.
In the early 1960s the Gibson SG appeared as another solid‑body electric from Gibson. Originally intended as the successor to the Les Paul, it became — helped by Angus Young of AC/DC — another rock‑history icon and is the basis for the double‑cutaway guitar type.
With the Flying V and the Explorer Gibson is responsible for two body shapes that, although they were far ahead of their time when introduced in the late 1950s, have over the years also achieved legendary status. They still serve as the foundation for a host of heavy guitars today, for example from makers such as Jackson or ESP.
The Gibson Custom Shop produces custom orders, high‑quality one‑offs and precise replicas of famous models and legendary instrument years. These are often subjected to an artificial ageing process called relicing.
Almost as long as the company has existed, acoustic guitars have also been produced. The J‑45, the Hummingbird, the L‑00 and the SJ‑200 are among the world’s most beloved steel‑string acoustics and were the instruments of choice for Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and John Lennon.
Besides the instruments already mentioned, you can of course also buy picks, bags and cases or merchandise from Gibson with us.
We are particularly proud to host a Gibson Flagship Store in our Frankfurt branch. There you’ll find not only a large selection and exclusive models to try out in person, but you’ll also benefit from the expertise of our Gibson‑trained and certified staff when choosing the perfect guitar.

Der Amp ist klasse. Nur schade, dass er in Deutschland 500 Euro mehr kostet, als in USA
