Construction and features
The Player II Telecaster exudes timeless Fender charm, but under the hood it’s built for today’s players. Everything about the neck is designed for fast, fluid playability, from the modern "C" profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable 9.5" radius of the rosewood or maple fretboard with smooth rolled edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets. The body is available in alder, ash or mahogany and in classic Fender finishes as well as in archive colours never seen before. The Player Series Alnico V single-coil Tele® pickups deliver glassy highs, musical mids and tight lows that enhance any genre. With the 3-way blade switch you can dial in everything from the warm neck-pickup chime to the cutting bridge-pickup twang and everything in between, while a 6-saddle bridge, steel block saddles and ClassicGear™ tuners provide precise tuning stability and the flexibility to explore endless tonal possibilities.
