The EC-1000 is a real ESP LTD favourite - with the EC-1000 BLK, LTD goes a big step further. The guitar has the same basic features as its sister models: Mahogany body finished in black, glued-in mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard and top-quality Tone Pros hardware. So far so good, a high-quality single cutaway guitar with a cool look, but high tech is hidden under the bonnet: a set of the trendy, active Fishman Fluence humbuckers provides a variety of sounds: the Fluence Modern units enable 2 completely different sounds that can be selected via push/pull potentiometer: classic PAF style with a warm, round vintage character and modern high-gain active sound.
