Casio CT-X

The Casio CT-X home keyboard series is defined by the fact that all four keyboards are equipped with Casio's AiX Sound Source, allowing them to reproduce acoustic instruments with great detail. Instruments that can be simulated include pianos, strings, winds and percussion. The CT-X series can be divided into two subcategories. On the one hand there are the CT-X700 and CT-X800, each with 600 tones, 195 rhythms, 48-note polyphony and two 2.5 W speakers. The CT-X800 also comes with a pitch bend wheel and the ability to connect other devices via USB. The other subcategory consists of the CT-X3000 and CT-X5000 home keyboards. These are equipped with 800 tones and also offer the option to save an additional 100 user tones; polyphony increases to 64 notes. Furthermore, the number of rhythms increases to 235 with room for 100 additional user rhythms. These keyboards also feature additional effects and improved speakers.

All keyboards in the CT-X series feature a velocity-sensitive 61-key keyboard.
