Yamaha or A Company That Makes Everything. In fact, you could probably list faster what Yamaha does not make. The Japan-based company, active for over 125 years, is the all-rounder among instrument manufacturers. Having started as a maker of pianos, grand pianos and even wooden furniture, the range was soon expanded considerably: Yamaha now offers keyboards, string instruments, woodwinds, drums and percussion as well as PA and studio equipment. For example, youll find steel-string acoustic guitars, electric guitars, electric basses, the popular PSR keyboards, acoustic drumkits and e-drum sets, flutes and saxophones for beginners and intermediates, as well as the popular Clavinova CLP-700 digital pianos and entertainer keyboards like the Genos or the synthesiser Yamaha MX49, plus PA equipment and studio monitors for professional needs. In any case, you can always rely on Yamaha for excellent value for money.

A good all-round compact mixer for small groups. Used as the main vocal preamp and monitor feed in a big band with excellent results.
Always difficult to write a comprehensive review when one has only had something for a couple of weeks. Nevertheless, for the money it does appear to be a very nice machine. Pre-amps are good quality with a very nice clarity. EQ ranges are sensible and allow all of the modification you would need with reasonable inputs. Build quality is not bad....again for the money. The mixer would need to be treated carefully but you would not buy this if you are a touring band leaving gear breakdown to roadies. Mic stand mounting is handy and perfect for many applications. Effects are all very usable although of course you are limited to one at a time and that is all that is available for any channel. Channels 4&5 and 6&7 are stereo with 6.3mm jack inputs but I can still use a mono input (acoustic guitar) into both channels by using a Y lead or splitter and put one jack into left channel and the other into the right channel. It just means that you need to think carefully exactly what your inputs might need to be in a live situation. If you do that this is a steal at so little money.
- Jeder Zeit gerne wieder.
