The Canvas Tuner from Walrus Audio is a high-end floor tuner. The brightness of the large, colour LCD display can be adjusted and the colour of the display can be selected. Traditional needle or strobe tuning is available. A Tune Assist function enables faster tuning from string to string. The Canvas Tuner has several tuning presets, capo tunings and selectable reference tones in memory. As an additional gimmick, you can choose between various screensavers and upload your own photo. Nach langer Suche und dem Lesen sowie Anschauen von massenhaft Tests und Reviews zu Boss TU-3W Waza, Korg Pitchblack, Peterson StroboStomp, TC Electronic PolyTune 3, etc. habe ich mich letztlich für den Walrus Audio Canvas Tuner entschieden, da er genau all das bietet, was mir wichtig war: einfache Bedienung, wählbare Tuner-Arten, weitreichende Features mit vielen Buffereinstellungen sowie absolut hochwertige Verarbeitung und Update-Möglichkeit per USB-Anschluss - so, wie ich es auch schon von anderen Walrus Audio Pedalen gewohnt bin. Das Auspacken, Anschließen und Ausprobieren war wie immer eine Freude, nachdem Musik Produktiv wieder mal schnell und top verpackt geliefert hatte. Zugegeben - der Tuner ist nicht günstig und verbraucht durch das größere OLED-Display etwas mehr Strom
