Strymon BigSky MX Dual Engine Multi Reverb
Strymon BigSky MX
The new era of reverb workstations is here!
The Strymon BigSky MX is the next generation of reverb workstation, taking functionality and creative possibilities to a new level. The Strymon BigSky MX combines high processing power with innovative design and delivers stunning reverb sounds in a compact pedal that brim with depth and complexity.
The key features at a glance:
The BigSky MX pedal uses a Tri-Cone 800 MHz ARM processor to run two reverb engines simultaneously, with serial, parallel or split audio routing and new panning controls. Of the 12 reverb modes, seven are brand-new, while the remaining classic modes have all received powerful sonic and functional upgrades. The new convolution engine can play back ten-second stereo impulse responses and gives you the ability to fully edit your IRs. 22 impulse responses are preinstalled, including a large number of custom long captures of classic analogue studio gear.
A reverb that can do it all!
The BigSky MX is packed with high-quality features, making it the ultimate reverb pedal for every guitarist, producer and music lover. We'll show you the extensive feature set.
12 world-class reverbs:
The BigSky MX offers twelve impressive reverb machines, including seven brand-new algorithms and major improvements to the classics. Whether you want lively spring reverbs, deep halls or heavenly shimmers, this pedal has everything you need to give your sound a unique character.
Two reverbs at once:
Use the option to run two reverbs simultaneously and route them in series, parallel or split mode. Each reverb can be panned separately per engine to create complex, organically evolving soundscapes.
10s Stereo Impulse Response:
Enjoy full control over impulse responses with a complete IR editing feature. Capture classic studio gear with custom long captures and explore new sonic worlds.
Infinite/Freeze footswitch:
Create lush pads to play over, or hold notes indefinitely for unique atmospheric effects. Perfect for use in live performances and creative sessions.
Massive processing power for extraordinary sounds
The BigSky MX impresses with a powerful Tri-Core 800 MHz ARM processor and 32-bit floating point processing. That means enormous processing power dedicated to generating breathtaking reverbs. The new algorithms were developed using state-of-the-art AI optimisation techniques to eliminate any unwanted distortion or artefacts.
Two reverbs at once for limitless creativity
Switch between reverb engines in no time and enjoy clearly displayed routing in series, parallel or split modes. For an interactive experience you can assign a separate footswitch to each reverb to control its on/off state.
New sounds at every position of the knob
The BigSky MX offers seven entirely new reverb algorithms, including Impulse and Chamber, developed specifically for this model. You'll also get new features and improvements for the classic BigSky algorithms. Within each reverb type there are new sounds and features waiting to be discovered by you.
Unrivalled control over impulse response
With the BigSky MX you can edit and manipulate impulse responses in real time. Set decay envelopes, gate the reverb tail, reverse the entire IR, resample on-the-fly and create indefinitely sustaining granular pads with the Infinite footswitch.
In addition, the pedal ships with 22 unique stereo impulse responses, including a collection of our own painstaking captures of legendary analogue studio equipment. These inspiring sounds offer you endless possibilities.
Extensive connectivity
Stereo inputs and outputs: Achieve massive width and presence with full stereo I/O, equipped with discrete Class A JFET input preamps. Your sounds will shine wider than ever before.
Full MIDI control & more: Change presets and control parameters via MIDI over USB-C, TRS or DIN connections. Tailor your controls in seconds using an expression pedal. All in an elegant, easy-to-use pedal.
