This rather rare shape of a Spector is the X series and here as a US Custom Shop version. The chambered reclaimed redwood body with buckeye burl deck and matching headstock. The full-length 3-piece roasted maple neck with roasted maple fingerboard stretches over 34" and ends at the matching headstock with D-tuner from Hipshot (UltraLite). The EMG 40 DCX has more headroom than the normal 40 DC and is controlled via a 2-band EQ with the legendary Spector HAZ 9v preamp. As a special treat, the back of the headstock is signed by the staff of Spector, Woodstock, NY. A truly impressive bass in all facets from Stuart Spector's US Custom Shop.
