The Peavey 6505 Mini Head is a miniature version of Peavey's successful model 6505. The distinctive sound of its Big Brother was packed in a handy, 20-watt amp head. 2 channels with 3-band EQ The power output capacity can be turned down to a room volume suitable 1 watt output. for recording applications the speaker output can be switched off, for direct recording is a balanced XLR output with speaker simulation and a USB output standard. The T.S.I. Circuit provides information on the state of the power tubes and indicates when they must be replaced.

Der Effectsloop meines Amps war defekt. Viel Ausstattung, fairer Preis. An der Qualität wird gespart.
Sehr kompaktes und soundmäßig überzeugendes Topteil von Peavey. Wer Sounds ganz nah am Original Peavey 5150 sucht, ist mit dem 6506 MH bestens bedient. Die Power-Soak-Funktion ist perfekt und erlaubt satte Crunch- und beste Hi-Gain-Sounds auch für zuhause. Die 20 Watt reichen locker für Proberaum und Club-Gigs (der Clean-Channel für clean nicht unbedingt, aber den 6505 MH kauft man wohl eher für seine verzerrten Sounds). Ich spiele das Topteil über eine modifizierte Marshall-Box 2x12 mit Greenbacks G12H Heritage, 75hz. Der Sound ist traumhaft und die passende Peavey- Box mit Greenbacks G12M 75hz habe ich mir auch geordert. Mal sehen, wie diese klingt. 5 Sterne!
Le son d'un 6505. Les 30W sont largement suffisant, c'est même assez impressionnant. A 2-3 sur le master, ca couvre une batterie sans problème. Le gros point noir, c'est la sortie msdi. L'idée est très bonne, la réalisation est un peu plus mitigée.

Im Grund ein netter kleiner Verstärker, aber bitte nicht mit einer 4x12 Box konfrontieren!!! Ansonsten gut, das man ohne Box über Kopfhörer spielen kann. Als Zweitverstärker O.K. Klangbandbreite gerade so O. K.
Je suis étonné par la qualité de cette tête, tant sur le hardware que sur les sonorités. Alors c'est clair qu'elle ne fait pas bouger la cage thoracique comme une tête de 120 watts, mais le grain 6505 est bien là, c'est un véritable petit monstre. Réglages faciles, peut sonner très très fort, parfaite pour jouer à très bas volume, un régal d'entendre et sentir la saturation des lampes. le son clair passe pas trop mal, les crunch sont vraiment délicieux, c'est pas brouillon, c'est vivant! et bien sûr le deuxième canal est vraiment rageur, permet de jouer avec précision, du punch, de la dynamique. La boucle d'effet fait bien son travail, mais on se passe facilement d'effets. Cette tête n'est pas faite pour faire du Pink Floyd, elle se suffit à elle-même, même pas besoin de pédale de boost. C'est du plug and play. Par contre si vous pensez l'acheter pour faire de tout avec, passez votre chemin, le son clair est bien pour dépanner, le son crunch va du blues rock au hard rock et le canal rouge du hard rock au gros gros méchant son. Donc pour le jazz, le funk, la variétoche à maman, faut oublier. C'est brut, puissant, agressif dans le bon sens du terme. Les sorties casque et USB ne m'ont pas convaincu par contre ; je n'ai pas non plus du super matériel pour enregistrer sur l'ordi, ma déception vient peut-être de là. Je ne l'ai de toute façon pas achetée pour ça ni pour penser faire des petits concerts, juste pour avoir le GROS SON pendant que bébé dort à l'étage ; même si ma Dual Rectifier sonne bien à bas volume, elle envoie quand même pas mal de grosses basses dans les murs! Bref, pour moi, Peavey 6505MH, parfaite sur toute la ligne niveau génétique et le prix est juste allucinant!
Tengo el 6505 212 y quería tener este mini para casa, el canal rítmico es muy bueno.. El lead no me termina de convencer del todo.. El ampli en general está bastante bien conseguido si lo comparamos con los grandes 6505..aunque le falta esa garra metalera que tienen los otros...
