Product information "Mackie ThumpSub GO"
With the ThumpSub GO Mackie brings the first battery-powered subwoofer to market – ideal for DJs, bands and mobile sound reinforcement. With 400 W of power, two 8" woofers and up to 123 dB SPL it delivers deep bass where there’s no mains outlet in sight. Its slim design, at just 19 kg, and the integrated carry handle make the subwoofer extremely portable and flexible – whether in the club, at a street gig or at a garden party.
Power from battery operation
The ThumpSub GO is supplied with a GB-200 battery and runs for up to 6 hours. With an optional second GB-200 the runtime can be extended to a total of 12 hours. Thanks to two battery bays the batteries can be changed during operation (hot-swap) – so the sound remains uninterrupted. Alternatively the subwoofer can of course also be powered via the integrated mains power supply.
