Something special always comes out of the Ibanez Bass Workshop series: The Ibanez UB804-MOB is a solid body electric double bass with a continuous long scale neck and with maple body wings. The special Aero Silk MR5 bridge with integrated piezo pickup ensures classic upright bass sound. The UB804-MOB can also be easily played with bows - the otherwise usual problems such as the enormous volume difference between finger and bow playing are compensated for by the complex active electronics. A professional stand from the Drum Company Tama and a sturdy gigbag are included.
Due to the compact dimensions and the natural double bass sound, the Ibanez UB804-MOB is a good alternative to unwieldy, traditional "barn door" double basses.
