The Fender Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS features a modern "C" neck profile with a silky-satin urethane finish on the back and a comfortable 9.5"-radius rosewood or one-piece maple fretboard with smooth, rolled edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets. The alder body delivers classic Fender punch and is available in a range of exciting new finishes.
With a humbucker in the bridge position, the Fender Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS is a classic guitar aimed at modern guitarists. The voiced Player II Modified humbucker delivers plenty of power, and the Noiseless™ pickups provide classic Strat tone and sparkle while eliminating unwanted noise.
For added tonal flexibility, the push/pull switch on the second tone control splits the bridge humbucker for classic Strat single-coil tones. The 2-point tremolo, Short Post Locking Tuner, TUSQ nut and modern string tree ensure incredibly stable tuning, while the increased travel of the angled tremolo block lets you coax even more expressive, musical vibrato from your instrument.
