Sound and construction
The Fender Player II Jazzmaster RW Black is a 6-string solid body model with an offset-body shape. Crafted from premium alder, this body offers a warm, rich and resonant tone. The classic alder body is available in timeless Fender finishes as well as never-before-seen modern colours. Everything about the neck is designed for fast, fluid playability, from the modern "C" profile with a satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable 9.5" radius rosewood fretboard with rolled edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets. The Fender Player II Jazzmaster RW therefore allows easy bends and a comfortable playing feel.
Electronics and hardware
The two Fender Player Series Alnico V single-coil Jazzmaster pickups deliver a crystal-clear, dynamic tone. The Aged White pickup covers are a real eye-catcher and give the guitar a touch of vintage vibe. With the 3-way switch you can dial in every tone, from the chime-like clarity of the neck pickup to the biting, snarly tones of the bridge pickup and everything in between. The 6-saddle Jazzmaster bridge with floating tremolo, the upgraded Mustang saddles and the ClassicGear™ tuners provide precise tuning stability and the flexibility to explore endless tonal possibilities.
Additionally, the Jazzmaster ships from the factory with Fender strings in a gauge of .009 - .042, offering you a light and comfortable playing feel.
