Body, S-bow and machine head
The body and S-bow of this series are made of bronze and its sound harks back to the legendary era of the 1960s. The robust action is made of brass and enhanced with gold lacquer, the springs are made of French spring steel and guarantee a permanently pleasant playing comfort. The key arms at low c, b and bb are reinforced with an additional brace to prevent the sound from "fluttering". The pads on the Expression saxophones are made in Italy.
Sound and response:
As the look suggests, this model is more orientated towards jazz, swing, blues and rock. The bronze alloy ensures a velvety and round sound across the entire tonal spectrum. The pleasant response characterises the X-Old series and provides additional playing security.
Case and accessories:
A high-quality lightweight case with carrying strap is included. The sheet music can be stored in a separate pocket on the front. The Expression mouthpiece is made in the USA!
