The guitars of the 5150 series are modelled on the legendary, beaten-up "Frankenstein" axes from Eddie's early days. With the 5150 Deluxe Pacific Drift EVH takes a trip back to the early '80s: ST-style body, baked maple neck with "Hockey Stick" headstock, EVH humbuckers screwed directly into the wood, Lo Friction volume pot, Floyd Rose tremolo with D-Tuna for Drop D tuning and a kill switch.

A few years ago Eddie entered into a cooperation with Fender, which resulted not only in the now third version of the 5150 guitar amplifier but also in various iterations of his perfectly conceived and crafted Wolfgang electric guitars.
