Daslight DVC Gold Interface
The interfaces of the new Daslight DVC series impress with a new and modern design and some new features to make working with lighting equipment easier. They now have four XLR outputs for better distribution of the DMX universes and an RJ45 Ethernet socket for controlling Art-Net-capable devices.
In addition, the interface grows with your technical pool and your tasks: It is possible to expand the interfaces with a chargeable upgrade, increasing the maximum number of controllable channels to 2048 channels.
Daslight 5 lighting software
Daslight can be used with any DMX512 compatible spotlight. Fixtures are connected via an XLR cable to the Daslight DVC4 USB or Ethernet DMX interface on your PC or MAC.
Choose from a device library of over 15000 devices (SSL2 files) or create your own device profile using the integrated Scan Libary Editor. Easily add spotlights to your show. This can be done by dragging and dropping from the library onto the patch grid.
Design completely new effects in the 2D view. Either by drag and drop or using the generator with which lines, circles and matrices can be created. Create different layouts for each spotlight type and display your master layout in the General tab. Spotlights can also be sorted into quick selection groups.
Quick and easy show creation with Daslight 5: Create a scene, select fixtures and set the DMX levels with the faders. Additional dynamic scenes can be created by adding steps. Switch between steps with wait time or fade time. Scenes can be sorted into coloured groups. This allows you to quickly combine different effects.
Palettes make it easy to control the spotlights without having to move the faders. Control movements with the PAN/TILT grid or select colours with the colour wheel. The new linear fan tool allows you to create beautiful colour gradients. Furthermore, the palettes allow you to control different types of gear simultaneously if the channels are configured differently.
With Daslight's unique XEEL effects engine, hundreds of stunning effects can be generated quickly and easily. Pixel effects can be used to create video effects for LED matrixes. You can also create beautiful position effects for moving heads and scanners.
Daslight 5 utilises every pixel of your screen. With a screen resolution of 1920x1200, over 150 scenes can be placed without having to move or scroll the window. The new Live Toolbox allows you to create touchscreen compatible buttons to quickly switch between scenes, make live changes and much more.
Daslight 5 combines a wide variety of different inputs for the ultimate live experience. Control scenes and change fader levels using Multi-Touch, iPhone/iPad/Android or MIDI/DMX controllers. Synchronisation of music using Daslight Audio Analyser via BPM, Pulse or MIDI clock.
Daslight Remote App
Daslight Remote is the new and greatly improved remote application for Daslight 5. The app allows you to create a customised screen layout that you can use on a touchscreen or connect to an iPhone, iPad or Android device via Wi-Fi. Perfect for mobile control and installations.
Daslight Remote has been developed exclusively for Daslight 5 and replaces the older Easy Remote app, which is only compatible with DVC3 and Daslight 4.
Prepare your lighting setup before the show is even set up. Create a show with moving heads, scanners, LEDs, trusses and stages. The new real-time 3D visualisation tool allows you to test lighting effects, colours, dimmers and gobos in advance.
