Arturia was founded in 1999 in Grenoble, France, and initially made its name with software emulations of legendary vintage synthesizers. In combination with specially adapted controller keyboards, Arturia created an excellent integration of software and hardware — the V Collection software suite has for years been the industry standard for virtual synthesizers.
With the analogue Brute product line, Arturia scored a surprise coup a few years ago and has since been at the forefront of the analogue synthesizer revival movement. In 2015 the BeatStep Pro became a bestseller in the sequencer/pad controller category. Nix für gradlinige Brot und Buttersounds. Sobald man morpht wirds abenteuerlich. Das Gerät lebt förmlich und es kann sein, dass die analogen Komponenten anderntags etwas anders tönen. Und: man sollte, wie bei einer Gitarre, immer wieder mal stimmen. Das quirlige Gerät ist wie geschaffen für Sounddesign und macht vor allem Eines: Spass!
