The CDJ-3000X provides even more connectivity through access to cloud storage and music streaming services, revealing a flexibility that meets the diverse demands of modern DJs. With built-in Wi‑Fi® it can connect to the internet without a LAN cable, simplifying setup in any environment. There is also an NFC touchpoint on the front that allows immediate access to online media when you hold your smartphone over it.

The design of the CDJ-3000X has been significantly improved with regard to the most important performance aspects — usability, playability and sound quality. Smoother, more intuitive browsing on the new high-resolution capacitive 10.1-inch touchscreen is a real pleasure. This also optimises clarity and operability. The jog wheel offers a larger range for adjusting resistance, enabling much finer control. The redesigned Play and Cue buttons ensure even greater durability — reliably lasting for years — and the new high-performance DAC and newly developed power supply deliver a powerful, high-resolution sound that strikes a balanced relationship between punch and clarity.

Expanded media support for various DJ styles

Thanks to groundbreaking advances in support for online and storage media, the CDJ-3000X opens up entirely new creative possibilities. This makes flexible DJ performances possible like never before. The player supports playback from cloud storage and music streaming services, enhancing every stage of the workflow — from track preparation to live performance. With integrated Wi‑Fi, internet access can be wireless without a LAN cable, ideal for quick, smooth setups in any environment. The front NFC touchpoint lets you access online music instantly by holding a smartphone running the latest version of rekordbox for iOS/Android over it. The CDJ-3000X and a smartphone are all you need to access your music library from anywhere in the world and start your personal set immediately. A USB Type-C port is provided for connecting a USB storage device or a PC/Mac, allowing faster, seamless integration with the latest devices and computers.

Improved browsing experience: more than just the next track

With the CDJ-3000X you can browse, select and manage your tracks even more intuitively. The high-resolution capacitive 10.1-inch touchscreen now shows up to 16 tracks on the browse screen. Improved visibility and smooth control help you find and play tracks faster. For quick searching it’s now possible to copy track information and paste it directly into the search bar. And for the first time on a CDJ, playlists can be edited by rearranging tracks directly on the player.*1 Even better: if you use Cloud-Library-Sync, changes made are automatically synchronised across all your devices.

The CDJ-3000X also lets you manage tracks from different media sources in a playlist via the Global-Tag-List. You can tag tracks from a USB storage device, cloud locations and streaming services so they all appear in a single list. Tracks from online sources are downloaded once tagged, reducing load times and enabling smoother performances. The time required to display track information when using rekordbox CloudDirectPlay has also been greatly reduced. Even browsing online-stored music now works as smoothly as with USB drives.

Advanced hot-cue features for faster prep and more creativity

The new hot-cue workflow allows track structure to be analysed in real time, opening up the possibility to perform even more spontaneously. The CDJ-3000X brings the popular Touch-Cue feature, which lets you preview any point in a track through the headphones by touching the waveform. It is also now possible to set hot-cues immediately at the point you are listening to. If Smart-Cue*2 is enabled, the current cue point is automatically overwritten by the position and colour of a recalled hot-cue. Gate-Cue is also available, allowing the sound to play only while a hot-cue button is held. This creates entirely new creative possibilities for tone-play and other performance techniques.

The Play and Cue buttons have been developed to withstand the toughest use and each endure over 500,000 more actuations than the previous model. Whether you want to scratch dynamically or match tracks with sensitivity — with the extended adjustment range for jog wheel resistance you’ll find your sweet spot and control the music more precisely. Once a track is selected it is fully loaded into the player’s memory and cached there: so you don’t need to worry about playback being interrupted if a USB drive is accidentally disconnected or the internet connection drops briefly.

Thanks to the new sound-performance features, the audience can be immersed in a detailed and dynamic audio experience where every nuance of the original track is faithfully reproduced, intensifying the energy of dance music. Building on the high-quality sound and advanced digital audio processing developed for the CDJ-3000, the CDJ-3000X takes sound quality to the next level. With the new high-performance ESS-Technology DAC it achieves a better signal-to-noise ratio than the previous model, resulting in clearer and more refined audio reproduction. The newly developed power supply reduces unwanted noise and increases low-end power, delivering punchy bass and a warm sound that doesn’t fatigue the ears — even during long sets. The CDJ-3000X’s sonic tuning was refined through on-site testing in various club environments and further developed with professional sound engineers to ensure exceptional audio performance in any setting, from small venues to large outdoor festivals.
