Every electric guitar in the popular Wild Customs Baroness series is a one-off and 100% made in France. Every single step of the production process — from design and manufacture through finishing and wiring to final setup — is done by hand. Despite their double-cut body shape, the Baroness guitars resemble the famous Les Paul design. Wild Customs equips each Baroness with a solid body and an arched top. Various tonewoods such as mahogany, maple and ash are used. As with the other series from the French guitar workshop, the neck is set (glued) rather than bolted on. This has the advantage that resonance between body and neck is transmitted more freely and directly. The result is a fat, warm tone. Alongside the great sound there is also comfortable playability. This is achieved by the 24 3/4" scale length with 22 frets and a 12" fretboard radius with C-shape neck profile. The scale length, at 629 mm, is slightly shorter than the 25 1/2" scale of most Fender guitars. Fans of the Baroness series appreciate the easier playing feel that results from the lower string tension.

Special attention is deserved by the elaborate relic treatments and finishes. As you can see at first glance, a lot of love goes into the details.
