VS Audio, the small Greek boutique pedal manufacturer, has taken a classic and brought it up to date: the good old Germanium Fuzz Face circuit. At the heart of the pedal are NOS TUNGSRAMTM AC125 germanium transistors, which have been carefully selected and matched. The fuzz signal can be effectively post-processed with an active 2-band EQ. Also on board is a clean booster for the obligatory "scoop more". VS Audio has created an extremely versatile fuzz pedal - the sound palette ranges from light overdrive style to scratchy fuzz to singing, fat violin tone. A special buffer is also on board, which makes combining with other effect pedals stress-free.
