With superior craftsmanship, premium tonewoods, and a plethora of design innovations, the Gold Label 814e introduces a new kind of Taylor sound to the world. This model features a new body shape we've called Super Auditorium, a slightly larger version of our famous Grand Auditorium shape that delivers impressive power with a tradition-inspired warmth and fullness that will delight traditionalists and modern ears alike. Honduras rosewood back and sides are paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top that offers exceptional presence in the low notes, clear highs, and a complex harmonic character with overtones that bloom as the notes linger. Inside, a new version of our V-Class bracing provides longer sustain, more volume, and near-perfect pitch accuracy across the entire neck. A new long-tenon neck joint improves overall resonance and sound transfer, while also offering super-precise adjustability whenever needed. This Super Auditorium guitar features new visual enhancements, including a new Continental inlay, a new pickguard design, a grained ivory inlay, chrome Gotoh 510 tuners with ebony buttons, bone bridge pins, and a glossy lacquer finish. It comes with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and a deluxe hard shell case with a British Cocoa finish.
