The SLO 100 is a true amp icon—the legendary high-gain sound from the 80s! The SLO-100 Rack Mount delivers exactly the sound that Soldano stands for: singing lead sounds, assertive crunch, and crystal-clear clean sound, all with excellent dynamics. As with the 100-watt version, there are two channels available, and a tube-buffered FX loop prevents sound loss. A popular Soldano modification from the 90s is also on board: the Depth Control, which, together with the Presence Control, acts directly on the power amplifier. The amp's noise performance is state-of-the-art—improved grounding and redesigned power supply electronics prevent hum and crosstalk between channels. All this in an extremely cool Purple 19" rackmount enclosure—the Purple Beast!
