The heads of Remo Emperor - Tom Pack - Coated - 10-12-14 Zoll are significantly more durable and sound noticeably warmer than the transparent Emperor models. The heads are made from two plies of 7-mil Mylar film, which produce a very warm and consistent tone and therefore work excellently in the studio.
