The Primera series from the French manufacturer Prodipe is aimed specifically at beginners. The body is made of mahogany, the top is spruce. The fretboard is made of Composite Rosewood, the nut of bone and the neck is also mahogany. However, a carbon reinforcement is embedded here which adds virtually no weight but gives the neck particular stability. In general, the materials were chosen for high durability and stability, as beginner instruments are often subjected to greater strain. These characteristics make the guitars of the Primera series a favourite among beginner classical guitars.
