The Palmer Monicon is always in control of the volume. The passive mini-panel with the large-format controller is connected between the stereo output from a laptop, PC or interface and an active monitor system and allows a convenient and precise level adjustment of the monitors from the workplace. The passive circuit with very few components doesn’t change the sound in any way. Mute and mono buttons allow a muting of the outputs and puts the stereo outputs together as a mono.
The inputs and outputs of the controller are equipped with XLR connectors and the computer-usual 3.5mm stereo jacks, combo input jacks also allow the connection via 6.3 mm jack. Thus, the Palmer Monicon is suitable for both professional and consumer devices. Real wood edges and solid powder coated sheet steel make the practical studio tool visually elegant ,Palmer-typical 'little helper'.
