The One Control Minimal Series Black Loop is a dual-loop True Bypass switcher with two additional DC barrel plug outputs. The pedal can be used, depending on your setup, as an A+B switch, bypass looper or tuner output / mute switch. The Black Loop offers a wide range of functions and practically unlimited application possibilities. Of course the looper is a great tool for taking old vintage effects or pedals without True Bypass out of the signal path when they are not being played. Additionally the pedal can be used as an AB box. Simply connect an amplifier to the Output and a second amplifier to Send 2 – when you step on the Loop 2 footswitch the signal routing switches between Send 2 and the Output. This feature can also be used to operate the Black Loop as a tuner output / mute switch if the tuner is connected to one of the two send outputs.
The Black Loop is equipped with the legendary BJF buffer circuit, which can be switched on and off. The BJF buffer was developed by Björn Juhl, one of the world's leading amp and effect designers, at the request of many of the world's top guitarists and is the answer to the question of how to preserve your tone in all kinds of signal chains, from the stage to the studio, without colouring it. The more effects you connect afterwards, the more important a buffer becomes. This is the function of the BJF buffer integrated into the input. If you switch the BJF buffer on, you can stabilise the overall sound and achieve a warm and natural tone with less signal loss and degradation.
